A telehealth network connecting rural patients across Kenya to certified doctors and medical specialists via video consultation, chat, and SMS — bridging the healthcare access gap and enabling quality care regardless of location.
The Challenge
Rural patients had to travel long distances (often hours by motorbike) to access specialists, costing them significant time and transport fees just for preliminary assessments.
Our Engineering Solution
We built a low-bandwidth telehealth bridge offering optimized audio/video consultation and text consultation with a doctor. The platform runs on extremely low network speeds and supports automatic bandwidth degradation.
